Ameena is a singer songwriter, musician and non fiction writer based out of Portland, Oregon. "Desolate Road" (out July 21st, 2023) is her first single after a hiatus from performing live and recording. Her newest material was written alone on guitar.
Ameena studied dance, anthropology and film before finding her way to writing lyrics and fronting a post punk band in 2007. Her previous musical projects include; Cold Metal, The White Woods, Spirit House and her solo work as Ameena.
